Abstract

This paper describes the contributions (including sociatal contributions) and life of Dr. Howard Vincent Weems, Jr. in the field of entomology in Florida, USA. Howard Weems was unique among pioneering Florida entomologists in his personality, conduct and many valuable contributions to insect taxonomy.
