Abstract

This article focuses on the process of implementing nonclassroom activities in the state school system in Santa Catarina, with an analysis of the didactic-pedagogical guidelines sent by the State Department of Education (SED) to teachers during the Covid-19 pandemic, in the year 2020. For the study of this problem, based on the dialectical method, we organized the cultural objects under analysis in what we call Integrated Events. The study, based on discussions about integral human education in a historical-cultural perspective, based on Vygotskian and Bakhtinian studies, reveals a dynamic based on the emptying of the meanings of education, in terms of the role of the teacher and the teaching and learning relationships, conflicting with a critical and democratic education and society project.
