The politics of sanitationIn a chapter on the politics of public sanitation between 1920‑1940 in Windhoek, Namibia's capital, Gewald (2000 : 125‑144) tries to find an explanation for the fact that "after years of consistent protest and demand on the part of location residents, there was no improvement in public sanitation facilities".
