Abstract
The qur'an, as the main source of law for Muslims, has now only become a display, ceremonial reading, and is often ignored. The Qur'an as a guide for Muslims has not become a real reference for humans because its contents have not been studied and implemented in life. The aim of this research is to explore the values of Islamic education contained in the Al-Maun letter which is explained in the Al-Azhar commentary. This type of research is qualitative research. The data collection technique in this research uses documentary techniques. The data analysis method used in this research is the content analysis method. The content analysis method is a method used to find theoretical concepts and meanings contained in documents. The source of this research is the Tafsir Al-Azhar volume 10 as the unit of analysis and journals appropriate to the research topic. The results of this research show that the values of Islamic education contained in Surah Al-Maun through analysis of the Al-Azhar interpretation are the educational values of faith, worship and morals. These values are very important for Muslims because they regulate their good relationships with fellow humans and even with Allah SWT. These values must be of great concern to Muslims so that they can always understand and be able to practice them in life. So that humans can become perfect human beings or perfect humans both before humans and even before Allah SWT.
