Abstract

The initial results of this study were published in 2001. This paper presents the second part of the study and examines the distribution of the light in relation to the building and time and definition - conscious or not - of a 'light management' system. Also, the present study is based partly on a series of measurements of illuminance at certain fixed points in the interior of the monument and partly on observations of the path of the sun during the different seasons of the year, as well as the direction of the sun's rays in the interior of the Rotunda. © The Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers 2005.
