Abstract

The present study reports the results of using the biopsy technique with members of the Canadian Wheelchair International Team. The results demonstrate that these athletes possess muscles with larger fibre areas than seen in Olympic athletes. © 1979, International Spinal Cord Society. All rights reserved.
