Perlindungan Hukum Terhadap Perkembangan Wisata Baduy

Abstract

Kanekes Village is a tourist destination in Lebak Regency. The Baduy tribe is the original resident of Kanekes Village, they have customary rules that reject the entry of modern culture into their culture. The cultural uniqueness of the Baduy people and their natural beauty are potential tourist attractions. Since being designated as a tourism destination, tourism in Kanekes Village has experienced developments starting from tourist attractions, tourism facilities, to giving rise to various manifestations of aspects of their lives. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach using observation, interviews, and literature in collecting data. The theory used in this study is the tourism life cycle theory and the tourism beach theory. Tourism has developed into a global phenomenon, a basic need, and a part of human rights that must be respected and protected. Based on the results of research in Kanekes Village, it was found that there had been developments in tourism aspects such as tourist attractions and tourism supporting facilities. The development of tourism in Kanekes Village has both positive and negative implications for the Baduy community. The implications of tourism development can be found in socio-cultural, economic, and ecological aspects.
