Abstract

In July and August 1989, local gravity sur-veys of the islands and Heimaey and Surtsey were conducted. Networks of 42 points on Heiniaey and 41 points on Surtsey were sur-veyed for height and measured using a La-Coste and Romberg gravimeter. The data were reduced in the conventional way to ob-tain Bouguer anomaly maps of the islands.
