Abstract

Malpractice suits in the arena of pain management can be financially and emotionally devastating to a physician's practice. In this article we examine the most common causes of claims against those practicing pain medicine and discuss the issues that may determine the risks of liability from the plaintiff's perspective. © 2008 by American Academy of Pain Medicine.
