Abstract

Primary thymic carcinomas are well known but thymic metastases are very rare. To our knowledge a thymic metastasis from lung carcinoma has never been reported. We report the case of a metastatic lung cancer to the thymus, five years after a lobectomy for a stage I lung adenocarcinoma. © 2011 Published by European Association for Cardio-Thoracic Surgery.
