Penerapan Android Berbasis Teknologi Internet of Things (IoT) untuk Pengendali Smart Room

Abstract

The increasing prevalence of theft and the diminishing availability of energy resources underscore the importance of prioritizing security and efficient resource utilization. The concept of a Smart Room, controlled seamlessly via Android-based Internet of Things (IoT) technology, addresses these concerns by enabling users to interact with and manage information within their living spaces. This study seeks to develop such a system to empower users in controlling electronic devices and room conditions more effectively. The development process entails establishing a prototype room outfitted with lighting, a fan, and a secure door, all controllable through a dedicated Android application. The system is organized into two primary modules to simplify operation and monitoring. The successful deployment of this system, validated through black box testing, underscores its efficacy in enhancing security and resource management, thereby promoting safety and sustainability in domestic settings
