Abstract

Industrial, medical, and pharmaceutical applications of microcapsules are described. Pressure-sensitive copying paper is a typical example of their industrial applications while sustained drug release devices are a representative example of their medical and pharmaceutical applications. © 2001, Japan Oil Chemists' Society.
