Abstract

This article investigates the nature and interrelationships off our marketing-related constructs: Consumer Satisfaction/Dissatisfaction, Consumer Discontent, Consumer Alienation, and Consumerism. The initial intent of this study is to establish the unique form and meaning of each construct. A model is presented that illustrates the conceptual relationships among the constructs, incorporating Locus-of-Control as a mediating factor.
