Abstract
Anxiety is a common mental disorder and can have a detrimental impact on an individual's well-being. Anxiety is defined as an emotion consisting of unpleasant thoughts, unpleasant sensations, and physical changes that occur in response to situations or stimuli that are perceived as threatening or dangerous. Spiritual Emotional Freedom Technique (SEFT) is a therapy that integrates spiritual elements with Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) techniques. The purpose of this study was to explore the effectiveness of SEFT Therapy in reducing anxiety levels in participants with significant anxiety disorders. The subject of this study was a participant who experienced anxiety disorder. The research method used is a qualitative research method to explore the experiences and reactions of participants and the changes that participants experience after undergoing SEFT therapy. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with participants after they underwent several SEFT therapy sessions. There are three steps of SEFT therapy that are applied, namely Set-Up, tune in, and tapping.
