Abstract

The purpose of the paper is to reveal the impact of some socio-demographic factors on tourism enterprise management. A brief overview is presented of several important socio-demographic factors and their influence on tourism enterprise management. As a result, appropriate indicators are selected. On this basis, analysis is carried out of some important socio-demographic factors that tourism enterprise managers should consider when making managerial decisions in connection with the selection, attraction, and retention of target markets of tourists. Specifically, the factors include the purpose of travel of international tourists by countries of origin worldwide and in Bulgaria for the last years. As a result of the analysis, relevant conclusions are drawn.
