Abstract
An improved multistep synthesis of {3-(2-dimethylamino-ethy1)-2-[3-(2- dimethylaminoethyl)-1H-indol-5-ylmethyl]-1H-indol-5-yl}-N-methyl- methanesulfonamide, the main Sumatriptan impurity, is described, as a model for other related triptan derivatives. ©ARKAT USA, Inc.
