Abstract

The objective of this work is twofold. On the one hand, to know if the training and intervention of students who have participated in the peer support program of Cordoba develops their social competence and on the other, to check the involvement of this student in the different roles associated with bullying and cyberbullying. To this end, a longitudinal design study has been carried out, "ex post facto", quasi-experimental, pre-post of two groups, one quasi-control, using the questionnaire of social competence AMSC-Q and the questionnaires of harassment and cyberbullying European bullying Intervention Project Questionnaire (EBIPQ) and European Cyberbullying Intervention Project Questionnaire (ECIPQ). The target population is adolescents aged between 12 and 16 years. The sample consists of high school students (n = 206, 47% boys, 53% girls). The results show that there are significant differences regarding the dimensions related to social competence as well as less involvement in the roles associated with bullying and cyberbullying in the participants of the program.
