Abstract

The ionic conductivity, thermal stability and lithium transference number have been investigated in composite polymer electrolytes (CPE) of poly(vinylidene fluoride - hexafluoropropylene) (PVDF-HFP) incorporating nano fillers of AlO[OH]11 or γy-Al2O3, with LiClO4 as salt. The compatibility of the composite polymer electrolyte with lithium metal anode has also been studied. The effect of particle size on the compatibility of Li/ CPE/ Li symmetric cells has also been analyzed.
