Abstract

For several years, information system (IS) outsourcing has existed in one form or another. However recently, the trend towards outsourcing has become a major IS phenomenon. The goal of this report is to provide outsourcing endeavors and supports for the IS community. The topics presented cover a wide range of ideas, ranging from a two-level analysis of outsourcing decisions to an investigation of outsourcing dimensions in software acquisition, to the determinants of employment outsourcing.
