Abstract
We realized a review of the existent estuarine migration models for eel civelles (Anguilla anguilla L.). It shows that most of them focus on the factors involved in the models (temperature, waterflow, tide coefficient). But some differences exist in the relationships (linear or logistic) which link the parameters to the daily CPUE from the commercial fishery. Among the different models, there is not a single migration pattern for modélisation. It seems essential, in order to enhance the accuracy of the model, to engage a reflection on the variability and the significance of the CPUE. We noticed insufficient consideration to the individual variability of the eel civelle itself. Key-word
