Abstract

Scientific papers are written to a rigid format, composed of 4 sections, which correspond with the stages of the scientific method. This essay describes the relationship of the standard sections of a paper to the stages of the scientific method. Also for discussion will be the timing of the preparation of the paper and the relationship between the experimental protocol and the eventual paper.
