Abstract

PNA (peptide nucleic acid) is widely used as a DNA recognition tool. In this study, we introduced linkers in the middle of PNAs to expand their applicability. By means of Tm measurement and gel-shift assay, it was confirmed that these PNA can recognize double stranded DNA through efficient invasion.
