Abstract

Visualization is a common feature of computer science education tools in K-12 and beyond. However, there are still many unknowns about what makes visual tools effective. The focus of this research is to explore the properties of effective interactive visualizations in non-programming tasks for teaching computational thinking in K-12. Main contribution is expected to be an evaluated model of a system for developing these interactive visualizations.
