Abstract

In this thesis we proposed and developed a novel method for reconstruc- tion of the gradient refractive index distribution of non-spherical crystalline lenses and applied it experimentally in porcine and human lenses. We also studied the effects of GRIN on the visualization of the posterior lens surface with Optical Coherence Tomography and its correction.
