Abstract

An old proverb says that food is medicine if consumed in a right and balanced way. So many studies say that some regional diet system is benefit for brain function example Mediterranean region diet reduces the prevalence and risk of neurodegenerative diseases including Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's diseases, etc. Chemicals for mental stimulus come from food. However, signals for the intake of food come from the brain; a preference for certain types of food is also mediated by the brain. In this chapter we review the effect of food chemicals and metal stimulus.
