Caracterização do meio físico e formas de uso e ocupação do solo da bacia do rio pequeno - Paraná

Abstract

This study aimed to characterize the physical environment and how to use and land cover in the Pequeno wathershed, located in São José dos Pinhais - State of Paraná, analyzing conditions of use present in contrast with the natural features of the environment physical. In the analysis between 2000 and 2006, involving the integration of data, geotechnology and preparation of maps, it was found that: (a) the area occupied by natural vegetation was reduced 11%, making the area more sensitive to the exposure of erosion. (b) the urbanization increased 2% and concentrated near the confluence of the Little River with River Falls. (c) the agricultural activities are concentrated in very fragile soils (Histosols), which causes many negative impacts.
