Abstract

The authors analyze the health care provided to elderly people in their own homes, nursing homes and hospitals, during the peak period of the COVID-19 pandemic. They discuss appropriate considerations and proposals aimed to a better organization of this care in the future, while maintaining the requisite scientific, legal, and ethical principles.
