Design and research on household food slicer

Abstract

The research purpose is to design a mini type household food slicer to slice the root vegetables. The study elaborates on the design of each part of the slicer, including selecting electric motor and V belt, the design of V belt pulley, shaft, elevating mechanism and blade, to introduce the main structure and operating principles of the slicer, based on which the conclusion has been reached. © 2013 Maxwell Scientific Organization.
