Activity, heat of mixing, excess entropy, and specific heat values of 16 different binary copper alloys obtained in previous investigations were used to determine their thermodynamic properties. The conclusions are that the thermodynamic quantities of copper alloys are closely related to the periodic table; that the thermodynamic properties represent quite different features from those of the couples of polyvalent normal metals and show anomalies in the high concentration range of copper; and that the observed anomalies can be explained by supposing the formation of short range order in the liquid phase.
