Abstract

The article reviews the report "UNICEF Report Card 13: Fairness for Children," released by the United Nations Children Fund (UNICEF) Canada. Topics discussed include the report indicating that Canada ranked 26th out of the world's 35 richest countries across several indicators of child and youth health and well-being. Also mentioned are reasons for Canada's low ranking, including children & youth using only 3 percent of healthcare resources when they comprise 20 percent of the population.
