Abstract
The purpose of this article was to verify the existence of changes in the distribution and intensity of rainfall in four weather stations. The standard deviation and the trend were studied to understand the rain intensity along the series. The Kolmogorov-Smirnov test was applied to verify if changes occur in the rain distribution over time. The standard deviation showed high variety in rainfall intensity during the studied period, but the trend indicated the annual precipitation tend to increase. The Kolmogorov-Smirnov test did not reject the hypothesis that all distributions studied are not different between them. Therefore, it was concluded that in the studied series for each station no significant changes in the rainfall distribution were found, although the annual rainfall amount tends to increase.
