Abstract
This research examines the analysis of Notaries who are temporarily dismissed from their position because they are proven to have committed criminal acts, with the problems formulation of, first, what is the classification and legal consequences of criminal acts committed in the position of notary for them to be temporarily dismissed from their position. Second, whether notaries who are temporarily suspended from their position because they have committed a criminal act can be reappointed or not. This is a normative juridical research using statutory and contextual approaches. The results of this research conclude that, first, the classification of criminal acts in the position of notary is in the forgery of documents/deeds, secret of office, and forgery committed by officials and all of them can be sentenced to imprisonment and fines, as well as crimes which carry a penalty of less than five years, secondly , a notary who has been sentenced to temporary dismissal from his position can be dismissed again with a request to the Minister of Law and Human Rights in accordance with the existing mechanism
