Abstract

This study aimed to establish a stature-predicted equation using knee height, and perform a clinical validation on a Korean population.

In both groups, knee height was measured using a flexible tape while the knee and ankle joints were flexed at 90°. (A) It was measured in the sitting position with a tape attached to the wall, and was defined as the distance between the floor and suprapatella point. This method is identical to the one used in ‘Size Korea 2004’. (B) In recumbent position, the measured distance is between landing point and suprapatella point from lateral side.
