Abstract

An efficient photoinduced cyanation of various alkaloids by Me3SiCN in acetonitrile, sensitized by N,N'-dimethyl-2,7-diazapyrenium-bis-(tetrafiuoroborate) (DAP2+, 2 BF4-), is described. © 1990.
