Abstract
Laboratory testing has verified the strength limits for WT sections in both positive and negative bending. Based on this testing, the LRFD design requirements have been validated and recommended modifications to the ASD specification have been noted. Additionally, slender element criteria for tee section stems in flexural compression have been developed and shown.
