Abstract
This illustrated guide examines the acoustical quality of some of the world's most important concert and opera halls and reveals how composers and musicians adapt their art to complement the acoustics of their surroundings. It should be of value to musicians and concert-goers, concert hall managers, recording and audio engineers, and acousticians.
