Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of Conceptual Change Text on Basic Chemistry students' understanding of Acid and Base in Online Learning. This study used one group pretest-posttest design with 18 basic chemistry students of Universitas Billfath. Students' understanding was determined by the Acid and Base Test. The result showed that Conceptual Change Text can improve students' understanding, which was indicated by an average score of 57.22 at pretest becomes 91.11 at posttest and an N-gain score of 0.79.
