Three species of Microthyrium from Nolina

Abstract

Three new Microthyrium species are described, all from dead leaves of species of Nolina. Ascospores of M. nolinae and M. guadalupensis have novel placement and numbers of appendages. Ascospores of M. arizoniensis lack appendages. Zalerion guadalupensis, the anamorph of M. guadalupensis is also described.
