Application of Noether's theorem to extended particles

Abstract

We consider an approach similar to field theory for the application of Noether theorem to extended paticles. We obtain Euler-Lagrange equations for the extended particles as well as an equation binding the internal and external currents. The concrete case of spin 1/2 is considered in detail. © 2008 IOP Publishing Ltd.
