Abstract

Abstract: Analysis Of Implementation Of The Character Education Strengthening Program (Ppk) In Sd Negeri 18 Pekanbaru. The development of the era that is felt today is very contrary to the character values of the next generation of the nation. Character cannot be separated from a person because to improve the quality of Indonesian education, of course, holding on to the character of a nation. Education in Indonesia seeks to improve and instill character in the nation's next generation from an early age through the KDP program. This program is expected to be able to overcome and improve the character of the nation's next generation in facing future challenges. This research method uses qualitative research with a naturalistic inquiry approach. This research uses three stages. (1) Observation, (2) Interview, (3) Documentation. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the PPK program at SD Negeri 18 Pekanbaru is quite good by applying the five main character values (Religious, Integrity, Mutual Cooperation, Nationalism and Independent) in the learning process in the classroom and outside the classroom by the Principal, Teachers, Parents and Students.Keyword: Character, Strengthening Character Education  Program, PPKAbstrak: Analisis Implementasi Program Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter (Ppk) Di Sd Negeri 18 Pekanbaru. Perkembangan zaman yang dirasa saat ini sangat bertentangan dengan nilai karakter pada generasi penerus bangsa. Karakter tidak dapat dipisahkan dari seseorang karna untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan Indonesia tentunya berpegangan pada karakter suatu bangsa. Pendidikan di Indonesia berupaya meningkatkan dan menanamkan karakter kepada generasi penerus bangsa sejak dini melalui program PPK. Program ini diharapkan mampu mengatasi serta meningkatkan karakter generasi penerus bangsa dalam menghadapi tantangan dimasa depan. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan naturalistic inquiry. Penelitian ini menggunakan tiga tahap. (1) Observasi, (2) Wawancara, (3) Dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa implementasi program PPK di SD Negeri 18 Pekanbaru sudah cukup baik dengan menerapkan lima nilai karakter utama (Religius, Integritas, Gotong Royong, Nasionalisme dan Mandiri) didalam proses pembelajaran didalam kelas maupun diluar kelas oleh Kepala Sekolah, Guru, Orang Tua dan Siswa. Kata Kunci : Karakter, Program Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter, PPK
