Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Self Healing (Healing Touch) on the decrease in sensarial pain in Post Op patients in the Regional Government Hospital of Kampar District II in Bangkinang City. The research method was carried out by pretest-posttest design that was giving a pretest (initial observation) before being given an intervention, after that it was given an intervention, then posttest (final observation). The results of bivariate analysis showed that there was a significant effect of self healing with pain scale in patients post op with p value <0.05. It was concluded that self healing was used as a non-medication method to reduce pain scale in post op patients. Keywords: Self Healing, Pain Scale, Post Op Patient.
