Transformasi Digital Administrasi Sekolah melalui Sistem Informasi Manajemen Keuangan (SIMKU)

Abstract

The process of managing administrative data in private schools, especially data related to payment of School Operational Assistance (SPP), remains a challenge for many institutions that have not yet implemented an optimal information system. Data management still relies on manual tools such as Microsoft Excel, which has several limitations, including difficulties in data retrieval, potential input errors, and challenges in the recapitalization and reporting process. This affects the efficiency of administrative staff and causes delays in providing information to relevant parties such as teachers, students, and parents. To address these issues, a web-based SPP Payment Information System has been developed to help manage and process student SPP payments more effectively and efficiently. This system is designed and built using PHP with the Laravel framework, which is open source and supports the development of modern web applications. MySQL is used as the database management system to store all student payment information in a structured manner. This system features functionalities such as payment data input, data search based on student names or payment months, automatic recap, and printable payment reports. With this system in place, it is expected that the financial administration in private schools can be managed in a more organized, accurate, and timely manner. The outcome of this research is an SPP payment information system application that can be utilized by school administration staff to enhance work efficiency and improve the quality of financial information services for the school community. Additionally, this system can be further developed to integrate additional features such as payment notifications or integration with student achievement systems.
