Abstract

Treatment of four mastocytosis patients with the mast cell stabilising drugs, disodium cromoglycate and ketotifen failed to alter significantly the urinary excretion levels of histamine or N tau‐ methylimidazole acetic acid. No clinical improvement was noted in any subject after treatment by either drug. 1989 The British Pharmacological Society
