Abstract

Aptamers are short, single-stranded DNA or RNA molecules that can bind target molecules with high specificity and affinity and have considerable potential as therapeutic agents and diagnostic tools. A new method, UltraSELEX, identifies optimal sequences from a single round of high-throughput screening.
