Pathogenetic mechanisms of angina pectoris: Expanding views

Abstract

This article presents the Thomas Lewis lecture, given by the authors on November 24th, 1977. In the first part of his presentation, the author outlines the considerations that inspired him to his studies. In the second part he illustrates his results, and in the third part he puts forward the implications of his expanding views as angina pectoris.
