Abstract

Mesalazine is one of the most important drugs in treating common and painful intestinal diseases. The measurement of this drug is of great importance owing to the severe digestive disorders that occur in excessive use of this drug. Therefore, in this work, an excellent electrochemical sensor based on Co/Cu-BTC@SiO2 nanostructure was prepared, which can measure Mesalazine with a detection limit of 0.01 µM in the concentration range of 0.05–200 µM. At first, the synthesized MOF was characterized using FE-SEM, BET, FT-IR and TGA analyses. The prepared sensor had good reproducibility and stability for measuring mesalazine in plasma samples.
