Abstract

The photochemistry group in Basel has focused on the identification and characterization of organic reactive intermediates by flash photolysis with optical and infrared detection. In recent years, these techniques have been applied predominantly to determine the release rates of commonly used photoremovable protecting groups. © Schweizerische Chemische Gesellschaft.
