PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PROBLEM BASED LEARNING DALAM MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR FISIKA

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of the Problem Based Learning method in improving student physics learning outcomes. This research is a classroom action research. The survey was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of two meetings covering the planning, action, observation and reflection stages. The research subjects were 24 students of class XII MIA at SMA Negeri 2 Malinau. Sources of data used are observations, tests, and documents of student learning outcomes. For data analysis using quantitative descriptive analysis techniques. The results showed that the chemistry learning outcomes of class XII MIA students at SMA Negeri 2 Malinau experienced an increase after the application of the Problem Based Learning method. These results are indicated by an increase in student learning outcomes in each cycle. Improving student learning outcomes can be seen from two aspects, namely based on student attendance and student learning outcomes. Student learning outcomes experienced an increase as indicated by an increase in the average value of 73.30 in cycle I and increased to 80.00 in cycle II and was able to pass the KKM score ? 75. Survei dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari dua pertemuan meliputi tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XII MIA SMA Negeri 2 Malinau yang berjumlah 24 siswa. Sumber data yang digunakan adalah observasi, tes, dan dokumen hasil belajar siswa. Untuk analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar kimia siswa kelas XII MIA SMA Negeri 2 Malinau mengalami peningkatan setelah penerapan metode Problem Based Learning. Hasil ini ditunjukkan dengan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada setiap siklusnya. Peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dilihat dari dua aspek yaitu berdasarkan kehadiran siswa dan hasil belajar siswa. Hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan ditunjukkan dengan meningkatnya nilai rata-rata 73,30 pada siklus I dan meningkat menjadi 80,00 pada siklus II dan mampu melewati nilai KKM ? 75.
