Abstract

In this article we establish artistic, social and educational strategies and alliances for achieving greater levels of equality, participation and social justice of affective-sexual, body and gender diversity. As a methodology, we develop semi-structured interviews, on the one hand, with teachers and researchers in the area of Fine Arts and artistic education, and on the other, with professionals of social intervention who work with the LGTBIQ collective in the Spanish state. The research focuses on the inclusion of affective-sexual and gender diversity from artistic education, focusing on the disadvantage, oppression and historical discrimination that certain social groups have suffered. We develop possible artistic practices as a vehicle to achieve social purposes such as achieving real equality, possibilities of representation or social participation and opportunities for access to the world of work, from an intersectional perspective. We develop possible artistic practices as a vehicle to achieve social purposes such as real equality, possibilities of representation or social participation and opportunities for access to the world of work, from an intersectional perspective. As a main strategy we find the development, from artistic and educational spaces, of actions that make visible, raise awareness and train society about the risks and vulnerabilities that LGTBIQ + people face.
