Abstract

Adaptation to laterally displacing prisms was produced by walking a narrow hallway for ½ hr. Three tests given before and after adaptation showed a significant adaptation effect. Pointing to a visual target and pointing straight ahead in darkness showed apparently equal adaptation, while a visual forward direction test measured a smaller effect. © 1966, Psychonomic Press.
